In our mid-week assembly, the congregation engages in the ancient Christian practice of dialogue teaching (Acts 20.7). Each week, all members of the congregation are pre-presented with a sheet of study questions covering the scripture text we shall consider that evening. During the assembly, the answers to each question are discussed through the asking and answering of questions. The assemblies are ordered according to the Apostle Paul's teachings in 1 Corinthians 14: one man speaks at a time (v. 29-31), only men are invited to speak (v. 34), all things are done for edification (v. 26). To insure that all is done "decently and in order" (1 Corinthians 14.40), a moderator leads the study and calls on participants in turn. We invite only Christian men who have prepared to participate in the discussion. Anyone is welcome to attend these assemblies and learn from information shared. If you plan to join us for our mid-week service, check the calendar for what scriptures will be considered on that date and then download the questions below. See how your answers correspond to those given by the teachers and participants.
